Mascara Primer Tips
Are your lashes a little too sensitive? Are they becoming thin with your everyday use of your favorite Lancome mascara? Or do they still lack volume even with mascara on? No more worries. All you need is a mascara primer.
If your skin needs foundation your lashes need mascara primer. It is used to prepare your lashes for mascara application. Mascara primer smooths out the rough edges so that your mascara can be applied on an even layer to produce a smooth effect. It can also protect your lashes from drying. These mascara primers usually have nourishing ingredients for your lashes such as vitamin E or pro-vitamin B5.
If you want more volume you can use this for an extra layer. This method can save you some of your favorite mascara because you usually only need to apply a single coat after applying a mascara primer.
The usual color of a mascara primer is white. This way it can give more definition on the color of your favorite mascara. Applying it is just like a normal mascara. Just make sure to not to apply too much.
When applying, I recommend that you apply your mascara while the primer is wet. You can try it after it is dried but I am more satisfied with the result when it is wet. I recommend primers for people with thin lashes, as this lashes are quite sensitive. It can be an added task on your daily routine but it the pros of a mascara primer easily outweighs it.
